Our Story

H. Kona Finance was founded in (2015) and we have accomplished some mile stones over the years to create a world where consumer and business loans are offered at affordable and competitive rates with excellent customer service (This has always been our goal).

Our Founder and CEO (Ipili Yapu) was inspired to start this company by two reasons. Curiosity to try out his acquired university knowledge in Banking and finance was the first inspiration. Secondly, he witnessed a demand in fortnight loans from the working class. So, he decided to register H. Kona Finance (HKF) in (2015) to serve this niche market and to test his knowledge in finance and banking.

At HKF we encourage our community to believe that “their financial needs are our problems”.
